day 4

This week we are taking steps toward pursuing God’s better for our own lives.

Let’s Pause first and pray
PAUSE
As I enter prayer now, I pause to be still, to breath slowly, to recenter my scattered senses on the presence of God.
Pause and pray your own prayer
Read Romans 12:9-13
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.  Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.  Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.

Romans 12:9-13 (NLT)
These verses give a lot of actions that come out of a mind that is transformed by God. Let’s take a step back and reflect on our day 1 practices. How has God been showing up in your life, your thoughts, your actions this week?

When we focus too much on action points, we can lose the idea that all of these actions are from an outflow of how much God loves you.

Spend some time praying through how God loves you and how you want to love him better today.

End the time today showing love for someone by praying for them.
Ask the Lord to bless them, pray for any problems they may be going through and ask God how you can love them today.
AMEN
